Who I Am
A Husband
I was blessed to have met my wife in high school. She is, was, and will always be the most important person in my life.
A Dad
The most rewarding thing is being a part of my kids lives. The ordinary turns extraordinary on a daily basis.
A Leader
The safety and welfare of my officers is the first thing on my mind when I wake up, and their names are the last thing on my lips when I go to sleep.
SAPD Academy
First day of Brazilian Jujitsu.
A Little History
My family emigrated from Italy to America and arrived at Ellis Island in December of 1912.

I was born in Ohio and grew up mostly in Big Spring, TX, since I was six years old.
I served in the U.S. Marine Corps infantry as a 0351 from 1994 – 1998.
I graduated from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX, with a BA in 2003.
I joined the San Angelo Police Department in 2005. I promoted to the rank of Sergeant in 2013 and Lieutenant in 2016.

I have been a Master Peace Officer since 2014, and I have 5,429 training hours currently on record with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.

Since I've been a Police Officer in San Angelo I've served you as;

I’ve done everything I could have wanted to do, and even some things that were never in my plans to do but were asked of me.
I was awarded Patrol Supervisor of the Year in my first year as a supervisor in the department.

My Faith Is My Guide

My faith is absolute. The Mosaic Commandments aren't just the basis of my faith. Those same tenets form the basis of the laws of the United States of America and the State of Texas.
My faith has formed the foundation of how I live my personal life and how I have served you for the past 23 years as both a Marine and a Police Officer.

A Life of Service
My service didn't start in 2005 when I became a San Angelo police officer. It started in 1994 when I became A U.S. Marine. I served in Alpha Company 1st Battalion 5th Marines as a 0351.

I will always be grateful for the opportunity the Marine Corps gave me to learn leadership skills at the feet of some of the greatest leaders I've ever met.

1st Lieutenant Kelly Thompson, Sergeant Dominic Tolerico, Gunnery Sergeant Gallegher, and many others shared the principles of leadership with me.

Community
What Community Means To Me
San Angelo is the first home I've had. I lived all over the country growing up and all over the world as an adult. This is where I have chosen to create my life and raise my family.

San Angelo is unlike any other place I've ever lived. The people here are welcoming and friendly. I want them to have the best police department in the state, with the best-trained officers working for them.
